Description of 1990 Volvo 740 Base Sedan 4-Door

With great regret I am listing this super clean 2 owner super low mileage 744TI sedan. We have owned it for the past 8 years and have taken an already great car to a whole new level. It was a very clean all original 1 owner 48k mile car when we bought it in 2009. It was in a very minor fender bender before we bought it and was never repaired up to the point that we purchased it. It had a minor dent in the front fender and a broken drivers side rear view mirror, and a cracked rear windshield. Due to the age and value of the car at the time the insurance company totaled it and the owners got to keep it although it now had a salvage branded title. They never had it inspected because it was still in there name until we purchased it and took it to NY and had the very strict NYS DMV inspection performed and were then issued a NYS rebuilt title. I feel that the rebuilt branding is unfair but it is what it is and if you are knowledgeable about cars you will be able to tell it is everything I said it is and a rare opportunity to find a 740 Turbo with this mileage, manual transmission, and amount of quality upgrades and factory accessories ever again.
Right after purchase we replaced the fender with a used OEM fender that was already the same color, replaced the mirror and body color matched both of them, and also replaced the door handles with V90 body colored handles. We purchased a rare set of Volvo Accessory Galaxy 17" wheels and also had them color matched along with the grille. We installed a rare Volvo rubber trunk lip spoiler, OEM Euro glass headlamps and clear corners that were brought over from Germany and are super rare, new OEM fog light kit, Euro style red/clear tail lights, and very rare OEM Sno-Cap. All the paint is in amazing shape an mostly all original, there is a slight ding and scratch on roof that I couldn't even pick up with the camera. All trim, bumpers and moldings look great and are intact.
Shortly after purchase we also installed new IPD sway bars, Rear adjustable panhard bar, lower chassis brace, Cherry Turbos/IPD upper stress bar, IPD springs, Bilstein shocks and struts, strut rod bushings, rotors and pads, TME/IPD cat-back exhaust, new complete tune up, front seals, timing belt, water pump, drive belts, all fluids with Amsoil synthetics, new filters. We also installed a one off polished valve cover from IPD that was used on there Blizzard Bertone showcar from the 80's.
The interior is in amazing near perfect shape with the only blemish being 1 small crack on the left side of the dashboard as seen in the pics, new alcantara headliner, perfect seats, carpets, and door panels, rare custom fabricated shift knob produced in the late 90's for Volvo's with M46 transmissions that will not pop off when shifting and pull out the wires like the original knob. There is a rare OEM Ski holder between the seats that is a dealer accessory that was not sold in the US, Volvo accessory cassette holder, carpet dash cover to protect the dashboard, perfect OEM floor mats, and a super rare Volvo R sport steering wheel and hub.
This car runs and drives better then new. It handles like its on rails, has no leaks squeaks, or drive ability issues at all. It is ready to be driven anywhere in the country worry free, taken to your next VCOA meet or euro car show. It gets a lot of attention all the time and deserves to stay garaged and cared for as it has been. Feel free to come see and drive it in person and inquire with any questions you may have.

I made a mistake, the wheels are 16" X 7" not 17"
