Description of 1931 Willys Model 97 Willy's Overland Co

Truly Beautiful Car!
My wife and I just bought property in NC and this car was included in the deal, have a clean NC title in my name.
The first photo with the girls in it is as I got it, ots of dust and cobwebs.
I installed new points, otor, ondenser and plugs, reased the water pump, ut some gas and a couple of days on a battery charger and she came to life, otor runs great, o knocks, lenty of zip, backed it from down the drive and drove it up to the carport where I vacuumed the interior and wiped all the dust from the exterior, t still needs a full detail, here is wax in some crevices indicating the previous owner spent timebabyingit, e told me he used to attend annual shows and drive it regularly up to the last few years.
The clutch and brakes work, he timing advance and the choke work, he throttle knob on the dash is not hooked up and the manifold heat lever is stuck on open, he gas gauge tries to work, he oil pressure gauge works and it holds steady as does the generator gauge which indicated a positive charge, he windshield wiper arm is missing and it needs one new taillight lens, have the manual start crank lever and an original grease gun. The frame and under carriage look as great as the rest, WESOME!
If I still lived in town I would certainly keep it and drive it, ut being high in the mountains on long country roads I think it would likely sit in the garage and gather more dust, o I listed here with a low reserve, ayment plans need to be made within 48 hours after auction end, ash at pick up gets clean title and car, ny other form of payment (check) requires being cleared before car leaves its current location.
Early Ford Bronco considered for trade.
