Description of 1956 Willys Custom

1956 Willy's Pick-up
RESERVED REMOVED

Up for auction, is an all steel 1956 Willy's Pick-Up. I have been restoring this eye catching truck for the last several years. Don't be surprised, it can be used as a daily driver if you choose. Under the hood is a 305 small block Chevy engine, rebuilt and dyno tuned. At the time of this auction, this engine had 3300 miles on it. In a matter of speaking, the engine just got broken in. The carburetor is an Edelbrock 600. Also rebuilt, is a turbo 350 auto transmission. Inside the cabin are new Speed hut gauges. The truck was completely re-wired. Headlights are LED with turn signal option connection. The drum brakes were rebuilt (minus parking brake) and I recently replaced the master cylinder.
The chassis and cabin are all steel, recently prepped with POR-15 rust inhibitor. Sections of the chassis were steel reinforced for strength and 305 V8 torque. Floor pans and sections of the cabin were cut out and new floor pans were welded in as well as with other sections of the cabin. The newest upgrade consists of a custom exhaust with Thrush mufflers within the last month. Now the truck sounds awesome. The list goes on and on. I will include in the auction, many extras (worth 1K) for your continuing upgrading of this classic pickup. Recent audit of expenses reveal an investment of over 15k. This truck is not yet ready for the Barrett Street Auction and Antique Mall but you are on your way. I have to tell you that every time, and I mean every time I drive her....I get the thumbs up from admirers. It can be yours. There is a reserve (don't ask) naturally considering the funds expended, but it's below the amount cited in the narrative.
A few words about my auction. I've been buying and selling on EBay almost since its inception. I have 100% feedback. Don't waste my time if you're not a serious bidder or if you have negative feedback in the last year. The truck is being sold "as is and where is." I will do my best to make this a seamless transaction, but it takes two of us to do that. I am not a dealer. I am a regular Joe with Grandkids, and Grandma says its time to cut down on my hobbies. It's my expectation that this truck will be sold to someone who has a passion for classic trucks.
