1951 willys m38 24v Korean War era Jeep. These Jeeps were only made from 1950-1952. They had a much stronger boxed frame and water proof 24volt ignition system. The vehicle is verycomplete with original drivetrain, body hardware, Jerry can, spare tire, Canvas top(with removable side panels and doors). Still has the full 24 volt system in tact(rare) as most get switched to 12 volt. Motor turns freely by hand crank almost zero if any leaks and incredibly complete. The Jeep last ran in 2017-2018. It was owned by a veteran who used it as a civil defense Jeep and purchased in the 60’s. When he passed away it wasleft to his family. His son received a taillight ticket so I know it was on the road in 2017-2018. It willneed a light going threw to be back up and running including but not limited to gas tank being cleaned out, replacement batteries, carb cleaned, brakes bleed etc. Jeep harness looks more complete then most I’ve seen(does come with a debella replacement harness as well-at the very least can tradedfor parts needed$800 value). The onlymodification I’ve seen in wiring was a jumper wire for a starter switch. The body is in very nice shape with very little to no rust. The only body work I’ve found has been a small metal plate in the tool box, passenger floor and axe indent have had repairs.Great start for some one to drive or restore. This Jeep is in good over all condition and I believe it will take very little to get back up and running. I will help in any way I can answering questions, taking pictures, providing information.
