1963 Model Year VW Double Cap Pick UpBuilt in August of '62M Codes - 362 North American Export. 178 RPM Limiter 1200cc. 195 Adjustable Bench SeatExport Destination Jacksonville Florida code UJ. 265 - Double Cab. Cab Door Right. LHD. GreenThe bus is currently equipped with a recently rebuilt 1600cc Single port motor with headers and stinger exhaust. The motor was rebuilt by a Local VW repair shop that has been in business for over 30 years and has 50 years of Air cooled motor building experience. The rear has been lowered with Wagenswest IRS Kit. which has adjustable sprig plates to raise and lower to desired height. custom lengthened axles. new German Lobro brand cv's. 69 IRS transmission. and type 3 rear brakes. The front was lowered with adjusters that were added to the stock beam and flipped spindles. the adducers will allow you to bring the ride height up or further down to your desired ride location. Front brakes are still stock early bus brakes. Stock 15" bus wheels with 175/55 tires in the front and 195/65 in the rear. Actual mileage of this vehicle is unknown. It is not 12. 45. Bus comes with front shoes and window rubber seals. This is a drivable project bus that has plenty of rust in all of the following areas.
