Description of 1988 Acura Integra LS Special Edition |
After much internal debate, I have decided to part with my cherished Integra Special Edition. If you know about first generation Integras, then you know they only made 5000 of these (2500 black and 2500 white). These are extremely rare and hard to find in this great of condition. It took me almost 10 years to find this one. I've had it over a year and have only put a few miles on it...just driving around the block as part of preventative maintenance. I just can't bring myself to put a bunch of miles on it since it's so rare. I don't really want to sell it, but I think it should be enjoyed rather than being hidden away from the world. The paint is in great shape except for a few areas where clear is a getting hazy (see picture of hatch). Interior is amazing condition (9.5 of 10). The car is almost totally stock (but has aftermarket alarm). There is A/C on this car but it doesn't blow cold. The tires have great tread and very few miles on them. The engine runs good and doesn't smoke or leak. It does come with the OEM optional car cover as well as OEM nose mask/bra. This vehicle did spend at least part of it's life in Washington so there is some rust but it's minimal (see two areas on driver's rear wheel arch). The muffler probably should be replaced as well. The owners manual shows the original owner was in Washington. I purchased this from the daughter of the original owner. The car would probably make a long distance trip in its current condition, but I would highly recommend bringing a trailer to be safe. I say this because I've only put a few miles on it, so I can't honestly say it will make a long haul journey without issues. This vehicle is being sold AS IS, with NO warranties or guarantees. I have tried to describe this car as accurately as I can. It has a clean blue Texas title (in my name and in my possession). For more information about this car, visit g1teg.org |
