Description of 1972 Alfa Romeo Other |
Reselling this 1972 Berlina 2. 0L I bought from CA a few months ago due to lack of time and energy to finish it. This is a project car. I do not have any history of the car. This car has to go to someone that has time and energy to finish it. I am a car collector and own several Italian and British old cars. But I am not a mechanic. This car needs a bunch of things to make it a great car. Berlinas are going up in value. and this one has potential to become collectible when finished. The car starts but it will need to be trailed out. It need refreshing (battery. tires. brakes. hoses. speedometer and tach. some electrical. and few other issues). It was repainted several years ago. but not show quality. I would rate it as driver quality. There is no visible rust on the body. but the floors have some rot. The door and trunk latches will need to be refreshed or replaced. Interior is mint condition for age (some was recently replaced). The rear seats and carpets seem to be almost new. Front seats are in great shape. The dash is covered (I do not know what's under). glove box door is broken. The windshield is slightly cracked (hard to see). The wiring under the steering wheel is lose and will need to be secured and gone through. Some lights (reverse. brake. license plate) are not working. I don't know about the service history of the car (belts. fluids. etc. ) but I assume you will want to refresh these also. The list above is only what I could find. but it may need more (or less). I encourage potential buyers to come and inspect the car or send someone to do it for them. The car is sold AS IS WHERE IS. Again. it is a project. You will have to bring a trailer to take it home |
