We purchased this beautiful red 1979 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce at an auction benefitting Viet Nam veterans. It was offered as "non-running". All it needed was a hot battery and new gas (we were able to find gas without ethanol). It ran great! The body is super straight and clean. The odometer shows 13K but the clear Arkansas title shows 52K, hich is correct according to former owner. It has a tan interior with leather seats, hich do need replaced due to age. It appears to have been garage kept and not used for the last 10-15 years. It also needs a new canvas for the convertible top. The supporting structure is there. All lights and signals work. It even has the plastic headlight protectors, hich give the car a very cool profile. We have not found any electrical problems. A couple of weeks back, t didn't start right up, o we tapped on fuel pump and it roared to life. A new fuel pump is also needed. We have the owners manual. There is a full size spare tire in the trunk. It has air conditioning, hich could use a charge. We took photos to show small paint chips here and there, ight rust and any other flaws we found. The dash has some age cracks. The only significant rust is on rear bumper. Light surface rust behind rear tires. No rust on doors. It has zero floor panel rust. Some smog stuff may have been taken off, ong ago. I have tried to get a reliable value on this vintage car and the NADA shows low retail at $9700, verage at $13,800 and high at $16,600. It will need seat covers, anvas top, uel pump and an ac charge costing about $1500 in total. I have more photos, ust ask. Ask questions before you bid. It is for sale locally and the auction could end at any time. You are welcome to see it in person and pay cash at that time. All positive feedback returned. All sales final. Thanks for your interest.
