Description of 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider

We are a Lamborghini. Ferrari. and Maserati shop and parts house. I bought this Alfa for my wife to drive. from a Ferrari customer. nbsp;in place of a Lamborghini. So much for the best made plans. She drove it for awhile but found it lacking something. She drives fast and loves the feel of the acceleration from the big motor. The Alfa is fun and fast but not fast enough. We even put an electric Ferrari air horn on it but that did not help it go faster. As she drove the car we had her give us a list each day of things she wanted checked out or fixed. We got it all done down to the request to put a 12 cylinder motor in the front. After spending an hour with a tape measure. I finally convinced her a 12 banger would not fit. So here is a well sorted out little Alfa with only two things that keep it from being as close to perfect as an Alfa comes. The is a chip in the upper edge of the passenger side rear side marker light; and the top of the door trim below the vent window has a small piece under the trim cover cracked and missing. You cannot see the side light error without getting right on top of it and you cannot tell the trim backing is not there unless you know it is supposed to be there. We went through this car from front to back and it is in great condition. The transmission shifts with no problem at all. the motor runs with no smoke at all and starts everytime. The seats have no issues at all. The car came out of Texas so it has been painted once because the paint was cooked. The soft top is new and all the hardware is there on the hardtop. The car can be driven home or you can have it transported. We got the car in the summer and the air conditioner works great. That she did like over the Lamborghini. The mirrors are electric. the windows are electric and the seats are manual like all spiders. You can move it slowly and hum like an electric motor and try to fool your wife. This car is sold as is with no express or implied warranties. The car is 28 years old so it is not like the new cars. It feels like a sports car of its era. Payment is due within 5 days.
