1971 ALFA ROMEO GT JUNIOR European version Very Good Condition Matching numbers car 54. 00 original miles For sale is a 1971 Alfa Romeo GT Junior 1300cc with 5 Speed Transmission. The car is a Beautiful original European Spec car. with Original VIN Number AR1264154 and engine serial number AR00530*82215*. I purchased this car in Italy in 2012. According to Alfa Romeo historic factory archives. the chassis number AR 1264154 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior (105. 30). engine series AR 00530. manufactured on the 10th February 1971 and sold on the 25th March 1971 in Verzuolo. Cuneo. Italy. and then it was moved to Turin where I purchased 2 years ago. I am the fourth owner. THIS IS A TRUE EUROPEAN GT JUNIOR CAR. NOT AN AMERICAN VERSION GTV CONVERTED TO LOOK LIKE AN EUROPEAN MODEL. This car is in in very good condition inside and outside. There is no apparent Rust on the car because this car spent 21+ years in dry storage per records. The Engine is in an excellent condition and the Transmission shifts very smoothly through all five Gears. The Car Runs and Drives like an Italian Go Kart. There are absolutely No funny noises coming from the car when driving it on the Road. All electrical work perfect on the car. Speedometer. tachometer. clock. radio. gas gauge. oil pressure gauge & temperature gauge. It has a period correct AM-FM radio on the Original wooden laminated dash face plate. The odometer reads 86. 00Km which amounts to 54. 42 documented miles by service records. but in the Florida title is described as exempt on the miles. The car is in very good condition. however my appreciation of very good condition may not be the same as yours. so YOU SHOULD COME AN PERSONALLY INSPECT THE CAR. you can call me to set an appointment at 305 801 3884. the car is in South Florida and it has a clear State of Florida title. not in a remote foreign country waiting to be imported into the USA like others offered in eBay. The car looks and feels beautiful; I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. EXTERIOR: No apparent Rust. Older Indigo gray Re-Paint. which still shines. not perfect but it passes the test. All the Seals are still soft. both doors close and shut like an Alfa Romeo should. no sagging or falling out of place. everything works like it should. Original panels and floor pans. no accident car. all lines match in the body All the stainless Trims on the car are originally and have been polished recently. All original glass with the corresponding markings from factory. This is an award winning car. 2 first places overall in 2 different shows in Florida (see pictures). This is a true un-restored original survivor. INTERIOR: Newer red Italian Napa Leather Front and rear Seats and new rubber Alfa Romeo carpeting. front and back. Door Panels are the original black vinyl. Dash has no Cracks and it is as Shown in the Pictures. Headliner is also in a good condition. New custom Coco natural fiber mats. Original Alfa Romeo tool kit. jack & tire tool wrench. spare with alloy wheel in the trunk. ENGINE: Original engine 4 Cylinder 1. 3 Litter double overhead cam with dual original Weber carburetors that were rebuilt a year ago including replacing the fuel tank unit from Alfaholics. Engine was recently tuned with new spark plugs & wires. rotor & cap. new king fuel filter unit & air filter. New brake and Clutch master cylinders plus new battery. Also the light/directional switch stalk was replaced in addition to the ignition switch. New front to back exhaust system from Centerline. with rear stinger section pipe. which adds a nice Alfa roar when you accelerate. Yes this is a matching number original engine. DRIVETRAIN: Five Speed Transmission that shifts very smoothly. Clutch. pressure plate. throat bearing and rear seal were replaced 2000 miles ago. New drive shaft unit plus mounts & center bearing from Alfaholics This car Feels Really good when driving it on the Highway. SUSPENSION: Upgraded suspension with Koni red shocks and International Auto parts shorten red springs. new ball joints & poly Bushings front and back. & poly trunion poly bushing. Five re-conditioned 14-inch Original Alfa Romeo Campagnollo wheels. these are period correct and were an option on the Gt Junior. I also have the original steel wheels with hubcaps that will be delivered with the car. Tires are fairly New and were installed 1000 Miles ago. Braking System is Original 4 wheel disk Alfa Romeo with ATE power brake servo with Newer Pads on front and back. I have a full Folder of the Receipts. From work done in Italy and locally. I will include all the Paper works including the Original 1971 new car Italian registration with the government stamping for yearly technical inspections. This is where it shows when the time stops and goes into dry storage; the car enters into a time bubble for 21+ years. I also have the owner's Manual. original sales brochure and an Alfa Romeo complete shop manual in English. The Car will be Sold as Is with No Warranties.
