I am reluctantly offering for sale my Alpha Romeo. I bought it as a project and intended to fix it up and keep it a while. Plans have changed. The car has a lot going for it. I am the third owner, however the car was a one owner car till about three years ago. I have every piece of paperwork the car came with from new, including the import papers, dealer invoice and all service records. The car was meticulously maintained all its life. It is rust free....I mean absolutely rust free. It has never been hit. It has never been buggered with by an unqualified mechanic. The tires are like new, the brake and clutch master cyl's were recently replaced. Since I bought the car a couple months ago, I have installed a new battery, flushed the gas tank, new distributor cap, rotor, wires, plugs, oil and filter, fuel filter, fuel pump and air filter. Tires are like new. The only thing left to purchase before being able to drive is a new ECU for the fuel injection. The leaking convertible top leaked all over the original ECU and killed it. I have found a company in California that rebuilds these for $350 exchange. It also needs a new convertible top and a paint job. I had intended to do all this in the next couple of months but, plans change. My loss is your gain. I should also mention, if the new buyer wishes to have any of this work done, I have a classic sports car shop and can complete all this work.
