My parents bought this Spider brand new in the summer of 1986. This car has never seen even one day of winter: no snow; no ice; no salty roads. It was a summer/weekend car for a few years in NJ (spent winters covered inside a barn) and from @2000 until recently, it was a lightly-used second car in Southern California, where it was maintained by John's Alfa Romance in Los Angeles. Moved full-time to a small island off the Gulf Coast of Florida with it a few years back. Always garage kept. Condition is excellent unrestored; never been in a collision and there are no known mechanical issues. Has the optional factory "cow catcher" that guards the oil pan. Steering wheel and shifter are either Nardi or Momo--I can't remember which. Dash is excellent. The driver's seat leather has some cracks but is still presentable. Passenger's seat has no rips. Original clutch was replaced @2 years ago, and it has been driven @2,000 miles since then. Tires have less than 2,000 miles on them. Battery is new. A/C works as well as it ever did. Excellent-condition top is the second-ever and it was replaced a few years ago just before I left Los Angeles. I never really planned on selling this car, but with a wife and small daughter now, a two-seat sportster isn't practical. You would be hard-pressed to find a more rust-free, cleaner unrestored Alfa. Thanks for looking.
