Description of 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV |
Here's a rare chance to get an Alfa GTV rebuilt from the chassis to what you see before you with less than 1k miles on it. The previous PA owner imported the car from Greece, stripped it to bare metal with any faults corrected before applying new undercoating. Car was not driven before I hauled as a roller to sunny AL to complete the work. This car was built to be a rude performance car, not a nice quaint show car, although it presents very well. No expense was spared on the engine/trans/suspension where it counts. Interior is mostly new, with lots of soundproofing done before I installed new carpet, repro dash etc. Car is available for test drive or inspection before purchase and I welcome any questions, car is sold as is-will come with lots of documentation and bill of sale as AL will not title an older vehicle. Notes: Stripped and coated in Dupont undercoating 2018 2.0 Engine and transmission rebuilt in 2018, not driven until late 2019 New Weber 40mm carbs with horns Bluetooth 1-2-3 ignition with new Bosch blue coil (fully programmable and monitoring via phone app!) New Centerline Suspension (fully adjustable) All rubber bushings are new new brake and clutch cylinder, rebuilt calipers, new rotors New Alfaholics lightweight version wheels with tires (less than 250miles) bought the widest that will fit the car without new bodywork NOS Alfa Brass radiator Stinger exhaust (awesome and rude, drive slowly by your neighbors) 2 Gauge clusters (they're fussy, you may need a part) New windshield, other windows not perfect but usable New Steering Wheel, Repro dash, knobs Radio Delete etc. New headlight wiring with fused relays (much safer for the long haul) new grill from Alfaholics & Classic Alfa pcs-closer to older 1750 style NewDoor seals New door hardware (used older style) Seats recovered front and back New Carpet (sound deadening added) Will include lots of paperwork from the previous owner and myself, import record, receipts of over 10k in just small parts No A/C, no radio-roll down the windows and enjoy the car!Chassis AR1277549 Engine AR01655 135195 (Chassis number seems from GT Junior but lights etc. seem original) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zU8Zi9LuX4 1972 Alfa GTV start & drive - YouTube Video will open in a new window https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zU8Zi9LuX4 |
