I've decided to sell my beloved 1978 AMC Pacer DL,which hasonly 64,000 original miles. I bought this car last year as a project & I'm just never going to get to it. I hate to just see it sit. I am only the third owner & it came from Colorado about 12 years ago. It was on the road just a few years ago. It was originally silver in color, ut it has been painted and poorly; Mirth Mobile Blue. I love the patina and the bad attempt at the Mirth Mobile paint job & I was going to leave it just like it sits (uglier the better). It has the rare roof rack on it as well. It also has the very rare alloy wheels with allcenter caps. With a jump start, t starts right up & runs perfect! And this is the large 258 6-cylinder automatic column shift. The frame is in great shape. The passenger side door and rear valance are the only spots that have rust through. Otherwise the panels are in good shape. There are a few dents here and there. Everything works: lights, adio, lectronics, tc. The several issues include needing floors (holes right through), ower steering goes in & out (might need a rack), ear drivers side tire recently went flat (will need tires...dry rotted), indshield is cracked badlyin the corner & discolored because of it, xhaust is quiet but stops under the car (no tail pipe.) The interior has pretty much been removed by the previous owner. I have everything except the carpet, hich it will need, o car is nearly complete. I have boxes of parts that will go with it. I bought another gauge cluster because I thought the other one didn't work (turned out to be fuse) so comes with two, nd the one in the dash says 89k. Still have old one to prove 64k. Nevertheless, ou can get into this car and drive it down the street. I'm bummed out that I will not get the chance to finish it & drive it on a regular basis, hich was the plan. This was always one of my favorite cars. It's ugly & beautiful at the same time! Totally retro.I have had people stop in at my house just to talk about it. Just imagine if I was driving it. These have been selling for big bucks lately, ully restored! Here's your chance to make that happen at a very low reserve!!! Whether it's resto, arts, urning it into a drag race car, his car is well worth it, sp. given the reserve. Bid with confidence. Check my great feedback & good luck. There is no title to this car, ecause in NH cars that are over 15 years old don't require a title. However, have a letter from the NH DMV that states this, he current registration & a notarized Bill of Sale which should be all you need. I've sold cars before to many other states & this has always been sufficient.
