Description of 1967 AMC Rambler American Rogue |
This car is in good condition overall. It is an older restoration and has been well maintained and garage kept. Completely operable. The exterior paint, rim, nd mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footer". This is a rare car in that only 921 Rambler American Rogue Convertibles were built by AMC in 1967. Ipurchased the car in 1999 from a man who lived in Greenwood, outh Carolina. He had done some restoration work on the car. The body and running gear were in good condition. Interior and top were in very bad condition. I restored the interior and put a new top on the car. The car has 70015 actual miles on the odometer. It has a 232 six cylinder engine with a 2 barrel carb. It has an automatic transmission, ower steering and a power top that works. I have had a lot of fun at Car Shows and Cruise Ins with this car because it is so rare. The car has won several awards at AMC Car Club events in the past. Please remember that is is a 48 year old car. It has never been trailer queen car. I drive it to car club events and around townoccasionally. |
