This is a very nice example of a 1958 Rambler American and is in very nice shape. It drives very well and the engine runs perfectly and starts every time. The dual fuel pump has been replaced by an electric fuel pump for reliability. There are one or two of the brake wheel cylinders that need to be replaced but the brake system does not leak fluid. We drive this car often and it is a rare car that gets a lot of attention. To completely restore the car it would benefit from a new paint job but looks nice just the way it is. I bought the car from an elderly lady who's husband had passed. It had been stored in a warehouse for many years but took me no time to get it running perfectly. We have owned it for a few years and have just realized we need to reduce the number of vehicle we own. Everything is in the stock configuration and is a fun car to drive. It gets very good fuel mileage and cruises down the freeway effortlessly at 65+ mph. This is not a completely restored car but is very nice. There is very little rust, he floorboards had been replaced years prior to us owning it and there is a small rust spot near the bottom right of the rear window and in the passenger side door. The weatherstripping needs to be replaced on the doors and side windows. This is a great driver. The vehicle is for local pickup only, owever I will store it free of charge for up to 30 days once the vehicle is paid in full. Once the vehicle is paid in full I will send title and bill of sale by certified mail to the buyer. I can recommend a a trustworthy shipper to transport the car for the buyer but the shipping costs are the buyers responsibility. Please ask any questions you like. Thanks for looking!
