I have a 1970 AMX. The car was restored about 15 years ago I was told by a previous owner. He also told me the motor was supposed to original to the car, but not the transmission. It was born with a 4 speed. the motor and trans were built for performance. It runs like a scalded dog. no problem spinning the tires in any gear. It has power steering and dual exhaust.Motor has some cam and a convertor. sounds great. The paint is driver quality at this time. It shines nice, but is starting to its age. There are some bubbles down low on both quarter panels behind the wheel wells, and a couple on one door corner. It has some other blemishes here and there. looks good from ten feet, but needs to be repainted for a show car. the trunk is solid, and only one small repair to the floor. The interior is quite nice and has just had new carpeting put in. The bumpers have been re-chromed and are still pretty nice. in fact, most of the exterior trim is party nice. rally wheels with white letter tires in good condition. It is a great car you can drive and have fun with now and restore later. you can reach me at 540-336-3357 with any questions
