Description of 1969 AMC AMX GO-PAC

I'm the 3rd owner of this AMX. The car was originally a 343 auto car. My roommate (2nd owner) removed both the motor and trans and installed a 1970 360 with aT-10 4-speed. He had the car painted then too (1983). I bought this car from him in 1994 and started rebuilding it from the inside out. Pulled apart the interior, puttingin new insulation and acarpet kit, Flo-fit seats, RJS Harness Belts, Dash Pad, Gauges and a Stereo. From there I started on the motor and drivetrain. The engine is a rare1970 dog leg port 390 with a Group 19 Factory Cross-Ram. The block was bored .030"over, De-burred and blue printed with oil by-pass line, with remote oil filter and oil cooler.Pistons are forged 401 .030", with re-con rods balanced andshoot peened. Block, rods and crank were also mag-flex. Dog-Leg Heads are ported and polished with screw in guides and harden seats. Group 19 Cam with roller rockers. Running a Richmond 5-Speed with a 3:27 1st gear and 1:1 in 5th gear. Hurst shifter and linkage. Lakewood Scatter shield and Centerforce clutchon a OME flywheel.Stock rear end with 3:15 gears and atrac-loc posi. Rare factory free flow exhaust manifolds run into 2-1/2" X pipe then out 4" SuperTrapp'sDo to health reasons the car has been stored for the last 15 years and I just pulled it out andwent though it to get it running again. I started building this car to be driven and ithas gone up to and back fromHot August Nights in Renofrom 1995 to 2000. Putting on a total of 2,455 miles. The X does need Paint and Body. It has a Fiberglass trunk lid with the spoiler built in alone with the end caps too. There are small door dings and the paint has chip in many location. I started to scrap the paint off of the roof one night and that is the reason for the primer red on the roof. The bumpers are straight but need to be re-chromed. All stainless steel trim is on the car. The car was and is fun to drive. I have gottenit up and running and it still runs great. Also comes with the 360 motor and T-10 trans . I have a list of all things done to the AMX
