Up for auction is a veryrare 1973 AMC Javelin AMX with factory 401 and the rare "Pierre Cardin" interior. Great project,western Idaho car, original Trans Am Red paint. Options: 401, 4-bl., dual exaust,auto, A/C, P/S, P/DB, Go Pak, heavy duty cooling, heavy duty suspension. Hit on the right side 30 years ago and sitting since with under 80k miles. No frame damage but a small dent in the right rear frame from the springs. Right rear axle is bent but I have another complete rear end that goes with it. Motor and drivetrain were good when parked but frozen now. Interior is inok shape but headliner needs redone. The fabric is in great shape but the fiberglass structure is not in good shape. I have the grille (tub in great shape), original front and rear bumpers, rear valance, rear windowand front spoiler (has some cracks but all there. I also havea replacementrear spoiler, replacement pass. door and right rear quarter with inner sheet metal, window and door trim. Only rust through is a small hole at the top left rear of the roof line and a small hole in the left rear passenger floor (I have a cutout for it from another Javelin for it). The original fenders were removed and replaced. Troughs are in great shape and fornt end appears to never have had any damage. Missing all the emblems, cowl hood (just a javelin hood on it now), cowl induction air cleaner and a few interior parts. Engine compartment is very clean and mostly complete.
