Up for auction is a rare1983 AMC Eagle SX4 4X4 hatchback in fair condition. The car is a great candidate for restoration. It does start right up if gas is poured into the carburetor but will not stay running. I believe the gas in the tank is a few years old as the car was last driven regularly in 2013. Clutch slave cylinder appears to have seized from sitting but may be able to free it up or just replace it. Brakes work, tires are in great shape. This car has the iron duke 2.5 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual transmission and 4WD. The body has dings and dents (see pics), but generally pretty straight and has never been wrecked.Grill is broken on drivers side also visible in the pics.Has some rust here and there but extremely solid. Interior is in good shape. Car was owned by the same women since 83 who drove it until 2013 when she was 90 years old. This car cannot be driven as is but will not take much, you will need a trailer to pick it up. You are welcome to come see the car before buying.
