Up for sale is a one of 2501 units produced in 1970 by American Motors. I have owned this vehicle for over 35 years and during this time the vehicle has been restored twice. The last restoration was completed about 20 years ago. This vehicle has won several trophys both locally and at the National level winning the covenant AMO American Cup in 2002. The 390 engine runs strong and burns no oil, the engine was pulled out last year in order to replace the rear main seal and was completely repainted with several new parts installed. The Borg Warner T-10 transmission with Hurst shifter shifts smoothly with no issues, coupled with the AMC 20 rear end. The Ditzler DBU paint (Bittersweet Orange) still shows well, but after 20 years is now starting to show some blemishes. I would rate the paint a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. The interior is still like new as the day it came off the show room floor. Only flaw is a small crack on the dash panel on the passenger side of the vehicle. All chrome and glass are in excellent condition. This vehicle has been well cared for and garaged kept since the day I brought it home. Due to other interest, its time to sell my "baby" and give her a new home. Someone that will appreciate the cars of American Motors and to carry on their legacy.
