Description of 1969 AMC AMX |
We have a very cool 1969 AMX 390 Go Pack 4 speed. For sale. Yes it is a real 390- 4spd car. VIN is A9M97X167*** 3620 of these car were only made! The engine is the original 390 that has been rebuilt to stock specs (315 Hp) with some performance add ons like Aluminum Intake, mallory dual point ( could be original) 750 Holley, Hooker headers, 2-1/2 exhaust with 40 series flowmasters. (I do have the original intake and carburetor also.) The transmission is the correct Borg Warner T10(V code) with original Hurst shifter. The rear is the original 3.53 twin grip posi. Factory power front disc brakes, 8000 RPM tach. 140 mph Speedo, clock, aftermarket new style Stereo by Sony with rear and front speakers. Body and paint are nice. I would consider it driver quality or a little better. Not perfect, but shows nice, some blemishes, some small chips, and small crack in paint on hood, etc. The original color was Hunter Green....code 71A Interior is very nice and all new. The front seats are not the original ones but they are very comfortable and fitting. Everything works in the car as it should all lights, turn signals, gauges, tach, speedometer, heat, etc. New wheels, Cooper tires, brake power, booster, headers, exhaust, REAR leaf springs, all fluids.. ready to go and ready to show! Let me know if you need any more info. I can make some small videos and send them if you would like. I try and describe the vehicles as good as I can, but we strongly suggest that you come and look at it in person. $28000 or make a serious offer. If you need any more info or like to check out this cool AM, please give Jim a call @ Yanoski's "West County Speed" 570-956-6352 Thanks and have a great day... Jim |
