(The good). The following has less than a 1000 miles on it. The front suspension rebuilt with all new inner control arm bushings and bolts, trunnion upper and lower bearings, new springs, and shocks. Rear suspension has new springs, shocks, and panhard rod bushings and bolts. All 4 brake drums and wheels blasted and powder coated. New correct size wide white wall tires installed. New wheel cylinders front and new master cylinder. Over $2000.00 in above work. Replaced tail light and back up light lenses. Added back up light kit. Added glove box light kit. Has new instrument cluster, gauges, and clock. All gauges, warning lights, and instrument lights work. Has new correct fuel pump with vaccum booster. Rebuilt wiper motor that actually works. New seat belts installed, 2 front and 2 rear. Has rare 4 barrel manifold with new Eldebrock 500 cfm with electric choke. Has new old stock distributer with electronic ignition kit installed. Has the correct iignition switch with the correct key set. Mileage is approximate. The original odometer had around 95,000 on it. The new has less than a 1000.(The bad) Body and trim has a few dents. Looks good at 20 feet. Looks fair up close. The overdrive has stopped engaging. The clutch chatters occasionally. (The ugly) Auction includes a 1961 Ambassador parts car. This car has the AMC 327 V8 with the pushbutton automatic. It is also a power steering and power brake car. Has good glass and doors. The whole car might not be far from an impressive rat rod. I bought it with the idea of putting the engine and transmission in the Rebel. Thus creating the ultimate Rebel. Haven't tried to start the Ambassador.I have taken this Rebel to several shows. Everybody remembers a parent or grandparent having one. Had lots of plans for this car, but need to pass it on now. Both vehicles have clear Missouri titles in my name. Thanks for looking.
