Description of 1977 AMC Pacer D/L |
This was listed and after the reserve was met, eBay deleted my acct accidentally and could not reinstate the ad, told I need to relist. My apologies to those who met the reserve and this car could have been one of theirs. This is a low (original) mileage, iconic piece of history that has been well cared for and loved. It spent its entire life in Nevada until I purchased her a year and a half ago. Unfortunately, I must part with my baby. You seldom find these in this condition. She was delicately driven to shows, never in the rain and we have no snow in Miami. She was originally yellow with wood grain but was repainted back in 2014 by her previous owner. Not the best paint job (see pics), a five-footer but a great color in the Ford Grabber Blue. The interior has been 90% redone. Front seats were recovered. The radio was upgraded with a marine quality stereo system, to include new Kicker speakers, tweeter and an amplifier. Hence, this is NOT an all original vehicle. The windows have recently been tinted. The battery has been upgraded to an Optima. This is a real head turner, and always draws attention at the car shows. The A/C has a new blower motor. The speedo cable needs to be changed as the one I purchased was said to be the wrong one. Everything else works as should. There is just now faint surface rust starting at rear quarter panels/ behind the rear wheels (typical) but nothing severe at all.(See Pics) There is a leak around the radiator cap that just started but I haven't had time to investigate but I suspect the mechanic overfilled when replaced water pump recently, as radiator is filled as is the plastic jug. No other known issues. The following is work done over the past 1.5 and 4 years: Since Jan 2017: Thermostat JVC Marine Grade Radio Hoses Kickers Speakers, Amplifier and Tweeters Water Pump New carpeting throughout Fuel Pump Recovered both frontseats Optima Yellow Top Battery Repaired rear center fabric New A/C Motor Blower Replaced Interior trims Master Cylinder Tinted Windows Brake Switch Door Seals Engine mounts Window Felt Kit Rack And Pinion system Door Window Channel Rear Main Seal Hatchback Seal Oil Pan Gasket Oil Change Roof Rack Well nuts 4 Wheel alignment Hood Release Replaced Repairs done by previous owner: Replaced Original Front Brake Pads Power Steering Hose Radiator Newer NOS Carburetor Distributor Upgraded Alternator 120amp New Tires at about 33k Miles 2 Electric Fans (16" 3000cfm & 12" 1000cfm Engine Tune-Up Repainted in Ford Grabber Blue in 2014 Item is AS IS and is listed locally and I reserve the right to remove this listing at anytime. Serious buyers only. Make certain you have the ability to pay prior to bidding please. Good luck, someone is getting an awesome Wagon!
