Description of 1970 AMC AMX

Professionally built 401 engine producing 789 horsepower at the flywheel. Motor built to handle a 300 horsepower shot of nitrous. Car has Herman Lewis performance parts as well as specially made forged internals. Engine was dynoed by Barry Allen performance. Car ran 9.30 @ 147 mph in 1/4 mile with 175 h.p. nitrous. The car's hood, fenders, trunk lid and bumpers are fiberglass. The car has a full interior and is built for one hell of a ride! The car is ran in the street class. The car does not have very many runs on it. it will need a little TLC as it's been sitting for a few years. Car runs amazingly!
