This car belongs to a close friend of mine his name is Mark. If you have questions or would like to arrange to see this rare old car you can reach him at 914-720-5376. Vehicle is located in the Bronx. 1963 Rambler American Classic 770, 2-door sedan. These quad headlamp, 2 door models are rare and difficult to find. This vehicle is equipped with the inline 6 cylinder, mated to an automatic transmission, (also rare, as most are 3 speed manual column shift). This car is in need of a restoration, however can be driven as is. The car runs, drives and stops. New starter, alternator, and wheel cylinder just installed. The body is solid, as are floors, with the exception ofonevery minor driver's side front rust spot,(see photos). Please note: this car was only driven 200 miles in the past 3 years, thus will require going through all systems prior to being considered a roadworthy driver. The interior requires a little attention mostly to armrest and top portion of rear seat. Weather-strips and other normal wear items should eventuallybe replaced, however car does not have any water leaks. Car was repainted at some point in the factory color, however is peeling in spots, not horrible to look at, but can use a repaint or drive as is. This car is an excellent entry level 2dr classic, priced well below what some common 4-door models are going for. The potential for a hot rod, race car, or regular driver is all there. Very reasonable reserve on this rare old car. This Vehicle is located in Bronx, New York, Zip 10461. Deposit via Pay-Pal and balance cash in person. No deposit no sale. Shipping and transport is buyers responsibility.
