1970 AMC Javelin SST Big Bad Green. As you can see this is a project. I had planned to just put it back together and drive it like it is. I thought it would be a lot of fun. Unfortunately health issues are not going to allow that to happen. I have owned many AMC's over the years and just sold my 70 AMX on here a few weeks ago. Yes it was the red one all loaded up. It was stunning. I would say I have most of the parts to get this car back together. Im not going to tell you I have everything that would be dishonest, look at my feed back. As you know they did not make many 1970 Javelins in this color, that's one of the reasons I bought it. I purchased it from the original owner 11 years ago in Mercer Island Wa. The car was a 304 CI automatic console shift car. The motor is long gone but I have the transmission and console. The car has a very small amount of rust behind the drivers rear wheel opening other than that this car is very solid. you don't see them this solid very often. As you can see it has a ram air hood on it $. Don't ask it was on the car when I bought it. I have the center portion that seals on the air cleaner but no Y duct. I have a fresh 401 Engine that I had redone last year and also have all receipts for i, bored .30 - 27 cc Dish forged Wiseco pistons, rods were reconditioned with ARP bolts. All ARP hardware. Main studs, rod bolts and head bolts, crank is standard on the mains and 0.10 under on the rods bearings. The assembly is balanced and I have a new SFI flex plate used to balance the engine. New crank balancer also. The heads are the 291C 70-71 heads . they are all completely redone, new 11/32 chevy valves installed. new springs, locks and retainers new ARP screw in studs and roller rockers. Double roller timing chain and gears and new timing chain cover, new melling oil pump and gears. All the oiling modification were done to this engine if your an AMC guy you know which I'm talking about. It has a Lunati cam kit. The grind is VH44-VH45-110 or part # 10100703 you can look it up on Lunati website. New Edlebrock Air Gap intake as well and new distributor. I could go on and on but you get the idea. I have built 3 engines in this configuration it will make 420-435 horsepower @ 5500 RPM and 470- 480 ft lbs torque at 4200 RPM. By the way the trailer the car sits on goes as well. I bought it new about 10 years ago it was used very little. It was made by PJ's trailers here in phoenix and has a clean title. I have a very reasonable price set for this package. Thanks for looking. Jeff@ 3 six O 3 one O O nine 9 seven
