Description of 1964 AMC Rambler Classic

1964 Rambler Classic
station wagon- AC
AZ survivor-builder

NO RESERVE ...bid on it to win !
One of the coolest AMC Ramblers to come outta Wisconsin
2 row seating / 3 on the tree / factory Inline 6 / Underdash AC (at one time) / AZ surivivor
Patina that goes on for days / THIS Is the Rambler and or Wagon You wanna build ! It was last tagged in the mid 70s, and odometer shows only
aprox 70k on it / could be original miles (I doubt this car ever traveled 100k in AZ from 63-74) but who can say for sure. Either way, its almost all there
and would be a fun project builder. Fix the mechanics and interior and leave the outside just as is if you ask me.

FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This Az car is very solid in most areas, lots of surface rust, while
some call it patina, all I know is it took Mother Nature 50 yrs to do it.
Paint looks to be original except for maybe the hood. Most all the glass
is good (and or there). Rolls and steers fine. Floors have some rot but
still easily worth restoring. A factory V8 Rambler wagon, what more
could you ask for. One thing you cant see in the pics or video is, the car
does have a rodent smell inside from sitting in the elements for yrs and
critters living in it over the yrs. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up
on that. :)
MUCH MORE INFO and PIX below

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

If you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.

DRIVETRAIN: under the hood is the factory 6 with a manual trans.
Not running, last tagged back in the mid 70s.
Not sure why the motor was being dis-assembled for some reason
but most looks to be there. Mostly likely will get a V8 modern transplant
so not sure if it matters. Having a manual trans is cool, clutch pedal and all.

INTERIOR: take a look at pics its fairly complete, but
dry and showing its age. Minor rust in the floors in a few spots
(SEE PICS) . This was a factory AC car too, well had under dash
AC at one time....Yes, needs alot of
resto here, but new carpet and upholstery would be a great
start. What I call factory or dealer installed
Under dash AC / and 2 row seating with lots of storage and rear
deck space in the rear.
NEEDS FULL RESTO INSIDE but dont let that scare you.

Or if you rat rod it, ...just some resto :) Much of the rubber
vinyl and plastics has seen better days.
Tailgate works great, and glass does go up and down. Not easy
but it does.
SEE ALL 100+ PICS below

EXTERIOR:you are looking at what I believe whats left of the
factory white paint w/ alot of rust stains from sitting in the Az
elements for over 40 yrs..... It has some dents, yes
either. But it has some minor rot in the rear quarters and a few
small spots around the body. RF fender looks like it was primered
maybe at one time. This 64 model front end looks like a Baby Impala
if you ask me, check it out !
SEE PICS AND VIDEO !! Glass I think
was all good and windows currently work.
Chrome bumpers are in decent usable shape.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks pretty much like the way
it came from the factory and complete. Very little looks to
be missing. Will come on original steel wheels & rollers only..
OR Possibly the chrome wheels you see in it with the originals put
in the rear deck area (if I Cant find tires for them) and comes with
like 3 of the original dog dish hubcaps too.
Seems solid at least and no clunks etc when I moved it around
the yard last week.

Check out ALL 100+ the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a slow connection,
so be patient AND looks for the extra scrollbar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more infoAFTER
the pics etc. There are 100+ large pics.

Probably The BEST represented Wagons on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait
months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you
have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body
shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you asmuch
feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics fool you.
If they cant take pics of areas under the car they are
selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance, and you really
dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our carswith great pics
to help making your decision easier.Along with ANY other questions you may have.

Email me for a quote for shipping.
