1969 AMC JAVELIN SST 343 Richmond Gear 5 spd Disc brakes NEW 15x7 Ridler wheels

Offered here is a cool 1969 AMC Javelin SST...just 2 owners (before me)... The good: Original 343 auto, Power steering, Power disc brakes and I believe GO PACKAGE (Hood scoops, HD cooling, PDB etc),...Previous owner had a shop professionally install a manual pedal set up and NEW Richmond Gear 5 speed manual transmission....Upgrade was done super well, no surprises at all like a lot of modified cars...nice clutch and shifter, utilizes manual clutch linkage (not hydraulic) all done super nice and shifts thru the gear and runs out super smooth...The 343 was professionally rebuilt a number of years ago with many upgrades such as an Edelbrock intake and carb, Schneider cam, Headers and HEI ignition...It starts up super easy and has great oil pressure when cold or hot....its an older rebuild, not sure of all the specifics (I do have cam card) or actual mileage...Recent upgrade of 15 x 7 Ridler wheels with excellent tires that fit the car really well and go down the road nice and smooth without any vibrations....Nice car to drive and cruise at highway speeds with lower rpms... All gauges seem to work... The "bad": Car has rust and would definitely be a large undertaking if you wanted to restore this car...Engine has some oil leaks...Interior is has goods and bads (older & wear and tear, well used)...I do have pass seat that matches the drivers seat, included in sale...car has not been "on the road" in a number of years...It has been occasionally exercised but I'm sure some things will need attention. Maybe a project you want to do? or maybe a great parts car if you are looking for a nice overdrive manual trans set up that has all the sorting out done and working great (and all the other great parts this car has)...lack of time and storage space makes me offer this for sale...I'm happy to get any additional pics anyone needs or answer any questions...Sold as is condition.
