Constructed May 16. 1957 and dispatched eleven days later on the 27th to British Motor Car Distributors Inc. . USA. finished in Storm Grey paintwork over Red Connolly Leather upholstery. Records from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust confirm the original factory specifications. as well as warranty services through 1959. Throughout late the 1960s and early 1970s. the Aston Martin resided in Columbus. Ohio. where it appears to have been driven and enjoyed quite regularly. In fact. several matchbooks. miscellaneous articles. a preserved newspaper and license plates from 1973 remain with the Aston today - evidence the car was garaged and not used after 1973.
