Description of 1954 Austin Healey Other |
This custom 1954 Austin Healey 100 has been resto-modded with a custom clamshell hood resembling a Shelby, nd it turns heads like you would not believe. You cannot drive this car without people constantly waving to you and giving you the thumbs up. The car is extremely fast, s the car weighs nothing and has a V8. Austin Healey prices are going through the roof. This car can be driven as is, r restored to it's previous style. The car has minimal rust, nd even has the coveted Austin Healey 100 adjustable windshield. Do some research, hat part alone is hard to come by. The fenders were flared out giving this car a fantastic look. This roadster is small, ut has mean arches and lines that allow the car to be nimble but still aggressive looking. The car has sidepipes and sounds throaty and outrageous. The battery is located in the trunk for better balance, nd the entire care is extremely lightweight. The paint is beautiful, nd the stripes are subtle but pop. This is a show car and has won several awards in Idaho with the previous owner. She runs great, ut is a classic car so expect those usual quirks, uch as manual steering and non-boosted brakes. Ebay requires you to put mileage, o I just entered a number. The mileage is unknown, s it is a resto-mod. I love the car (and the attention), ut I do not have a garage at my condo and have to keep it in storage. I rarely get to drive it, nd Houston is too hot for a convertible for over half the year. Please do not respond to this listing unless you already have the funds in place. It is not easy to get a bank loan for a classic car, o please do not even try. I am more than happy to answer any questions, o please send them over. Thanks.
