Description of 1958 Austin Healey Sprite

This car was originally titled in California and came to the east coast in 2000 after a rotisserie restoration completed in 1999. has always been garaged and never seen rain but the wipers work! The car is in excellent condition with few blemishes and tight mechanically as it starts immediately without fail. Photo in galleryof water temperature and oil pressure gauge is @ 1100 rpm. "Best n Class" 28th Annual Southeastern Austin Healey Classic held in Little Switzerland NC September 2014 sponsored by Austin Healey Club of the Triad. 9CUH1424 is largely original with some minor upgrades including Pertronix electronic ignition. spin on filter conversion currently outfitted with K & N element. new top end done 700 miles ago. polished aluminum valve cover. Moss Motor's aftermarket air cleaners. rebuilt SU carburetors. rebuilt brakes. rebuilt clutch. tuned exhaust. like new K & N Minator alloy wheels shod with new Cooper Cobra P205/60R13 tires. like new side curtains. like new tonneau cover. like new convertible soft top. very nice interior. and all electrical with the exception of the heater blower motor switch (blower motor works though) is in operating order.
