Vehicle facts and Statement of Authenticity I (James J. Thomas) have been an ASE certified Master Technician since the mid 1980s, previous owner and founder of Lancer Auto Service, am currently certified as a Master ASE Auto Technician. I have been involved with the mechanical service and maintenance of this vehicle since 2002, I have been a friend of the second owner and involved in the vehicle since the early 1980's and verify all the information I have provided is correct and true. The current mileage indicated on the original speedometer - odometer(26.500) is actual and documented correct. All maintenance records are correct and documented as actual, various minor services have been performed and annual oil services performed by owner that have not been recorded. This service record is only for mechanical services and does not address the detail of the complete body panel restoration performed and any mechanical services provided during that restoration. This vehicle is currently in near perfect mechanical condition, the engine has never been apart, uses no oil, has only minor seepage from the original oil pan gasket and original front and rear engine seals and runs perfectly. The clutch is original; the engine, transmission and driveshaft have never been removed from the vehicle. The shift detent springs and balls were replaced to reduce the inherent issue of requiring holding of the shifter to keep from popping out of First gear. The paint on the engine and transmission are original and only the engine paint has been touched up. The brakes and all suspension components were original (as documented in photos) when replaced in 2009. The radiator is original and rebuilt, the fan blade has been updated to a five blade flex fan and the oil filter has been modified to a (spin - on) to replace the original canister style. This vehicle comes with every original component that has been upgraded. This vehicle has never had any rust... anywhere, has had a professional body panel off restoration. All panels, doors, body components and even stainless fender beading is original and was reused during restoration. All accessories, windows, hardtop, soft top and tonneau cover are in un-restored original very good condition. This vehicle has been stored properly since new, has seen very little rain and never any salt. The vehicle is reliable, runs like new, can be a show winning driver or a trailer queen. Possibly one of the most original examples of a 1962 A-H 3000 Mark 2 BT7 in existence. Car Includes:
