1960 Austin-Healey Sprite ("Bugeye"). Same owner 30+ years. Recent restoration (2013). Concours award winner. This car is done in colors matching the original build records from 1960, including black tonneau and top. Original engine (rebuilt and fitted with hardened valve seats) and transmission. Everything works. Since the concours showing in 2013 the car has been fitted with wire wheels from a later car, new radial tyres (less than 1000 miles on tyres), front disk brakes, and an aftermarket K and N air filter. All removed original parts (slotted disk wheels with Dunlop bias ply 5.20-13 tyres, drum brake assy's, original air cleaners) are included with the sale. Hagerty's site values these cars at between $22,300 ("excellent" condition) and $34,000 ("concours" condition). NADA site tops out at $41,000 ("high retail").
