Offered for sale is a 1961 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite. This car has just been taken out of long time storage, and is currently running on a temporary fuel tank in the boot area. The car runs and lot drives, brakes seem to work well, shifts through all gears, and has good oil pressure. The car will need the fuel tank installed and a new water pump before being road worthy. The engine is a 1275cc and is mated to a ribcase transmission. The paint is fairly low quality, there are scratches through the paint on the left rear quarter panel, and there is filler covering corrosion in the front of the rockers (see pictures). The footwells have holes in the floors, as can be seen in the photos, but otherwise this Bugeye is fairly solid everywhere else. The bonnet is very solid and straight. The top is in fair condition, and is not torn or ripped. Passenger seat bottom is missing. Comes with side curtains. Call or email Austin with questions. 712-301-9743.
