No smog check required, just the safety inspection. This car passed inspection last year.
Great for tooling around town, going on a date, or cruising the boulevard. I have driven long distance too,
from Oregon to California and from SoCal to Utah where it now resides.
Painted by previous owner. Even the engine compartment is painted with the Union Jack motif!
This car is pure British Mojo, baby! I got smiles, waves, whoops, hollers and "Shagadelic!"s every time I drove it.
I bought a house, so now it is time for me to let someone else have fun with it so I can buy furniture :(

Original 1098cc engine, dual SU carbs, new battery, aluminum wheels. Heater box. Black carpeting.

Drives great, has recent brakes, new master cylinder, new fuel tank, nice tires, the desireable Datsun Transmission! (the original trans was non-synchronous, so you would have to stop before putting it in 1st). Recent water pump. I replaced the original Fuel pump with an electric one (works good). You can have the original if you like.
Good clutch, car is serviced and ready to roll! I just put this car in Classic Car Auction 2 weeks ago so it is very clean (It didnt sell because a) I was 3 cars from last in the auction, and b) everyone seemed to be buying old trucks).
Very quick and nimble little car. Not super fast, but it is exciting to drive.

SO WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT?

Idles a bit low, but a quick tuneup would fix that. Adjusting the choke (remember those?) helps, but it should be tuned.
No radio (never had one)
No A/C (not available on these cars in 1966)
Speedometer cable needs replacement (I have the cable). If I have time I will try to replace it for you before you pick up the car.
Needs new gear shift cover (this one is too small)
The inside door panels are cheap non-originals and are warped and put on with velcro. I had planned to use them as templates to make nice wood side panels but just never did.
