The car is consigned to us from a 25 year owner. He purchased the car in California in the mid 1990s and brought it to Las Vegas where he began an extensive. high quality body-off restoration. The restoration took many years to finish and was completed around 2000. He estimates the car has been driven less than 5. 00 miles since. We have extensive photos showing each step of the restoration process. The fit and finish is still impeccable. The paint maintains an excellent shine and finish. It has a few very minute nicks. The chrome and brightwork are excellent. The detailed underbody has only light road rash. The leather interior was cut from a high quality hyde. It is still immaculate and well kept. The wood is perfect. The canvas convertible top is excellent. It comes with a tonneau cover as well. It is in wonderful running and driving condition. The restoration included the rebuilding of the engine. The transmission was upgraded to a 5-speed. The engine compartment and boot are still very clean and detailed. We have noted that the radio. horn and odometer are not functional. Today. the car is still in beautiful condition. It's ready for show and spirited driving. Along with his four sons. he specialized in sale of classic Mustang parts. restoration and the sale of collector cars.
