| Year of Manufacture: Between Late August 1955 to July 1956. Total of 4604 BN2’s built to include 640 M’s. 1955 Austin-Healey 100S (Limited production—50 race-prepared cars). Car No: BN2L228980. late No: 5568 10809. Engine No: 1B228980MLHD 100 2. 6 Liter BN2 Matching numbers AH 100-4 recently restored by owner. Engine rebuilt and cylinders sleeved back to standard size. Numbers matching transmission works well but does have a slight leak from o-ring on OD lever. New interior and paint. Top is partially installed and side curtains are after market variety. This is a solid car and all original items that could be refurbished/reused during restoration were used. Car is priced well below market value. Please ask any questions up front. |
