This car was sold new here in Los Angeles, California and has resided with a Pasadena family for over 27 years, and then it's most recent owner for the last 5 years. It has been well maintained and cared for, garage-kept, and exercised regularly. It still retains it's original issue black and yellow license plates.This car is in very good to excellent general condition. It received a restoration some time in the past which is now showing a bit of age, in regards to some hairline cracking in the paintwork. Upon close inspection, there are some fine lines appearing particularly in the RH headlight area and RH rear fender. It's in a lovely mellowed genuine state and it's paintwork is easy on the eyes.The restoration at that time included completely new front and rear seat re-trim in full red leather with new foam, Wilton Wool carpet kit, new panel kit in red leather, new body and paintwork, new chrome 48-spoke wire wheels reconditioned or new brightwork, rubber kit, a stainless steel exhaust system, a correct Armacord trunk kit, and a beautiful alloy/wood steering wheel.The dashboard facia is painted in the style of the 100-4, and looks attractive. Custom made, but nice looking, stainless steel splash aprons have been added front and rear. The previous owner preferred to hide the bumper irons...Mechanically, the car is very good to excellent. It has been well maintained over the years. The original 6-cylinder engine starts easily, revs and idles very smoothly with great oil pressure and no smoke or noises, and has that correct exhaust note. The gearbox shifts nicely and operates very quietly with overdrive working on 3rd and 4th. The brakes pull up well, and the car drives steers, rides, and handles as one would expect from such a nice car. All the car's fluids are very clean and up to the mark. PLEASE SEE VIDEO.An under chassis inspection reveals a nearly perfect rust free and solid CA car, with excellent original inner rockers, all original floors, superb outriggers and very nice main rails. There is some slight rust through just starting in the center of the trunk floor. The engine compartment appears very original and in good order.The car is sold with a knockoff hammer, operating manual, spare tire and rim, and black tonneau cover.This 3000 has an enviable and rare past California history from new, the last 27 years of it's 32 with the same Pasadena, CA family. It has been nicely restored in an original factory color scheme. The car's overall presentation is exceptionally good, and should be enjoyed going forward in it's beautifully mellowed, yet very attractive condition.
