Description of 1965 Austin Healey Sprite

I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. It is a one family owned 1965 Austin Healey Sprite. It was bought in Walnut Creek. nbsp; a suburb of the San Francisco bay area and was driven by the original buyer until given to the daughter in 2006 and has been in storage since. Always in California. there is and never has been any rust. There are some photos showing the original sales contract and the first of many registration cards. The mechanics. We gave it a complete engine tune and changed the oil and filter. Installed a new battery and the cars starts and runs perfect. No smoke. no leaks and no noises. The transmission and clutch are tight and just as they should be. Steering and brakes are fine and need nothing. The only thing that needs replacing are the tires. Body. Not much to say here. Super straight and rust free. The only two dings are shown in close up photos. There is a ding on the inside of the left headlight and a slight vertical crease on the left between the front fender and the door. Both extremely minor but worth noting. The paint is still real nice and all the bright work is fine. It is not a show car but it is really nice and clean overall. The interior. Redone at some point in its life and showing only very minor wear. The carpets a bit faded and there are two minor flaws in the seats. If you look at the seat photos. you can see the small flaws. The convertible top is really good and the rear windows are clear. It still fits well and shows a little bit of wear on two edges. Otherwise. completely usable and clean. There is a full tonneau cover but it does have some flaws. Overall it is just a real nice. always been babied car. I still have the owners manual. sales contract and tons of receipts for maintenance and repairs over the past 50 years. Everything from light bulbs to a valve job done in 1994.
