Description of 1969 Austin Healey Sprite |
Hello all and welcome to this exciting auction. Gmbidding is selling this car for his brother. It is with regret that I have for sale my 1969 Austin-Healey Sprite Mk IV. This would be a great father-son project. It has a Professional PPG 2 stage paint job. Engine is out of car and partially disassembled. It will need an engine overhaul. Cylinder head professionally rebuilt at a cost of $425 (No lead head). New windshield installed in frame. Has new Autumn Leaf interior panels and carpet set new in box. It rides on New Dunlop C-40 radial tires mounted on sandblasted and painted wheels. Interior floors have been sandblasted and painted black. Boxes full of NEW PARTS. I came across a 1955 Austin-Healey 100 just months ago after the Sprite was painted. I put the Sprite aside and got right on the Big Healey. I can’t afford to complete both. I can’t guarantee you will get every nut and bolt. as car was partially disassembled when I bought it. but this is a rare. great deal. Ridiculous reserve. (I will make up my losses with the Big Healey). I believe this car to be a very late production Sprite. that’s why I put so much money into it. Sprite will need a new top and seats recovered. Car shows less than 78. 00 miles. Totally a local car. This car will sell for less than the cost of paint and body work. $250 deposit due at end of auction within 48 hours. My credit union will assist you with wire transfers. Clear title. You arrange for pickup or shipping. Car is rollable / moveable. Car is sold as is-where is. No warranty implied or stated. I am an honest individual who has collected/driven English cars only since 1979. Email with any questions. Please serious bids only from knowledgeable English car enthusiasts. Thank you and good luck. |
