Description of 1962 Austin Healey 3000

With its fresh show quality repaint. this Healey looks better than new. The motor is excellent and the overdrive works perfectly. The chrome and interior are like new. It has both hard and soft tops. This Healey was completely rebuilt two owners ago. The motor. trans. interior. chrome. nbsp;body and paint - everything was restored and since it was like a new car. nbsp;the speedometer was put back to -0-. When the recent owner bought it. the odometer showed 5000 miles. Since then he only put 3783 miles on the car so the odometer today reads 08783. These are the total miles since this Healey was completely rebuilt mechanically and cosmetically. But we did not like the paint and that is why the car now has a fresh -0- mile show quality repaint to match the quality of the rest of the car. In the photos you can see what it takes - body sandblasted down to metal. nbsp;then body work with fenders. doors. hood and trunk lid removed. Then before painting the parts are checked in place one at a time and reworked as necessary to make sure all the gaps have a perfect fit.
