1947 Austin Sheerline! Rare limited production auto. Designed in 1942 by Leonard Lord who wanted a traditional British look like a Rolls or Bentley at a more affordable price. FEATURES: Walnut Veneer Leather upholstery Luxury carpets Fitted with a Rolls Royce Grill. headlights. and hubcaps Mileage: 81. 79 actual IMPROVEMENTS: Engine replaced with a 1971 Chrysler Slant Six 225 Cu. inch/3. 7 Liter and an Automatic Torque Flite Transmission. Installed New battery Cleaned fuel system Removed carburetor and shipped to Hollly Custom Shop in Bowling Green Kentucky to be reconditioned with factory parts and to factory specifications. Flushed the brake system. checked the brake adjustment and bled system. Lubricated and reattached springs Flush cooling system Check ignition system and installed new plugs Ran compression test and all cylinders were within specifications HISTORY: Rare limited production auto.
