1965 Austin Healey Sprite project with very little rust. Get one of these classic roadsters before they skyrocket in price. This car comes with 95% of parts and what is believed to be the original 1098 engine. It comes with working key and clear title. I chose this car because of the good condition of the 50 year old body. Exterior: The pictures look the whole car is rusty, ut that is because the car was painted red at some point and it has been sanded down in preparation of paint. Floor panels are original and extremely solid, s is trunk and most of car. There is one small rust whole inside the trunk area and it can easily be fixed with bondo. The fenders, ood, nd trunk lid were unbolted in preparation of paint and car are sitting in place. They can be removed and tied down for easy shipping. The hood has a one inch dent that is very fixable, nd the left driver fender has a hair line crack. All in all the body panels are in very good shape. The fenders alone go for $400-500 each. Both doors are complete with good glass - including the side hinged mirrors. I also have the front grill ($300-400 replacement value) all exterior lights, he original wipers, tc. The convertible top is shot, ut I have the top frame, hich is very good shape - pic included. Interior: The seats and dash need to be restored or replaced. Moss Motors and ebay sell the replacement cushions, nd seat covers in vinyl and leather. The seat frames are good -I have a set of the earlier style seats up to 1964 and the later style. Winner can let me know which they want. The original brown vinyl dash top is actually in good shape. The dash is not and will need to be repainted - the wrinkle finish dupli-color for 7.99 at Autozone matches the original. The instruments are all there and look good, ncluding the odometer showing 34k original miles. The carpet has all been removed. Carpet kits are available from ebay for $200. I have the original head caps. I have all the original interior panels. They can be recovered or you can buy a new replacement kit from Moss. Has original banjo steering wheel that just needs a new leather wrap and paint on the neck. Car rolls freely and can easily be loaded. These cars way less than 2k lbs so, re pretty easy to load. I will include a car cover. I think that is about it. Just a reminder this is a project car and does not run. The engine and transmission are believed to be in restorable condition and need of refreshing, ut not rebuilding. However, his car was sitting for several years at the property of the person I bought the car from, o assume the worst regarding the drivetrain, o you are not disappointed. I am only selling the car because I literally have 3 austin healeys sprite projects and I don't have time to do this one justice. My loss is your gain. Email with any questions. Thank you and Happy Bidding.
