Description of 1933 Austin

1933 American Austin roadster. The car was in an Arizona garage for many many years. They made very few roadsters and there are very few left. I bought her from the family that owned it since the 40's or 50's. It was last painted and upholstered in the 50's. The paint has scratches and a few small dents from storage but it is IMO too cool to restore. The 1952 inspection sticker is still on the windshield. I hope this car ends up with an owner who will appreciate it the way it is or restore her. I put in a rebuilt motor, new wiring harness, nd battery adjusted the mechanical brakes and went for a drive! The head lights and tail lights work and I added a brake light switch for safety.

These are very hard to find cars and in this condition it's almost impossible to find. The spare parts include extra rebuilt starter and generator, adiator, n almost ready to run complete motor on a stand, nd a host of other parts. Look at the pictures. There are original extra gages and headlights (minus the lens). The car is exactly as it was in the 1962 picture of it on the trailer. I also have the motor that was in it at the time but it is torn down for inspection currently.

I'm 6'2" and you can see how I fit into the car as I drove it on its maiden voyage. It takes up little space in the garage too (about as much as a motorcycle). If your looking for a show stopper this is it. I've never seen people smile the way they do when they see this car. Email me for any additional photos and call me for any questions on the car. It's titled in my name. (602) 510-7979.

Here's a video of the motor running. It sounds like a big block because I am running a straight pipe with no muffler! https://youtu.be/cy09Y1B67zY
