Bentley 1936 V12 Super-Charged Racer. (Bentley Road-Race cars are rarely up for Sale). This Stunning 1936 BENTLEY has a supercharged 8000cc V12 ROLLS ROYCE engine. Both chassis and engine are 1936 making this car eligible for VSCC and BDC and Historic events. History; Initially the car was entered for Hill climbs and sprints. Coming first at Prescott Hill Climb, helsley Walsh, righton Speed trials, Santa Pod. Even becoming overall winner and record holder at these events. One Notable event was on the Isle of Mann in 1998 when it won all four events against top competition. The car was then prepared for Bonneville and a set of aerodynamic wings were made, owever circumstances contrived to stop it going there. In recent years it has been prepared to Rally and race by the present owner. Who has improved the aerodynamics and performance of the car and competed at Silverstone, rescott, helsley Walsh & MIRA and Bentley Drivers Club events. This stunning car gathers crowds wherever it appears and sounds superb. (Truly one of the out-standing sounding cars at any event rivaling the 'Napier Bentley' for shear excitement. This Bentley special has been rebuilt for road, ally and race events, making it a covetable historic road rally car and also a highly competitive race winning car, ith unbelievable power and fantastic SuperCar acceleration. It's always a great crowd pleaser at historic event. With organisers always asking for the car to be entered at their events at places like Silverstone, rescott and Shelsley Walsh.
