Description of 1956 Bentley S1 |
Splendid Standard Steel Saloon in left hand drive.Outstanding colors. Lovely cream color leather complements the silver/black paint.Car drives excellent on modern wide whitewall tires. Everything on this car isvery nice, with minor things for an enthusiast to make perfect over time! Upgradesinclude paint, wood, leather, radio, seatbelts, and steering wheel. Feel free to email me your list of questions, for prompt response. Prior owner paid $46,000. Repainted, all chrome, door panels removed, car repaired andrepainted, $9780. 2014 Seat belts installed 2016 Steering wheel restored April 2017, $1029. Alternator replaced June 2020 Oil change June 2020 The interior was refitted with cream colored leather. It issoft and superb. The only wear is on the driver’s seat a little bit, fromgetting in and out. It is minor. The headliner was replaced as well. The woodwas re-done to a nice standard, very presentable. The carpets were re-done as well, and are verynice. The back seat interior is fit for royalty. The radio has been upgraded, with a subwoofer system in thetrunk. I am told this cost about $10,000. The tires are modern, wide whitewalls, and let the carhandles very well. Modern seatbelts wereinstalled, but can easily be removed. Chrome is mostly original, but looks great. Heater not blowing at this time. Rear trunk lid does not lock. Odomoter not rolling. It has a modern ignition system. The car startsevery time. |
