The fjord blue paint has a deep and lustrous shine. the chrome trim and black rubber accents are in very good original condition. I would rate the exterior finish of this car a solid 8. 5 on a scale of 1-10. Noticeable imperfections include one isolated quarter-sized corrosion bubble on the right rear quarter panel just forward of the right rear wheel. This one one very handsome timeless classic coupe! In fact. the CS was named as one of the 100 most beautiful cars ever designed in Automobile magazine a few years back [I may even have a copy for the new owner!] THE INTERIORThe interior of this classic coupe is in amazingly original near flawless unmolested condition throughout. ALL controls. functions and gauges works as they should from the ORIGINAL AM/FM radio to the electric windows to lights. blinkers. windows and sunroof! The original loop carpeting is in excellent original condition as is the wood trim crack-free vinyl dash to the leather-wrapped steering wheel. Minor imperfections inside the car include: slow working electric windows. two very small poke holes in the driver seat upholstery. one small chrome trim piece missing from drivers door along with the headliner fabric coming away at the sunroof panel. Otherwise the open and airy cockpit of this automobile is in quite astounding condition which I would rate a solid 8. 75 on a scale of 1-10! THE DRIVING EXPERIENCEThis classic starts. runs and drives very well. While not exactly a new M6 in its power-to-weight ratio. the engine runs very well and smooth with nice up and down shifts from the automatic transmission. The braking is very good with excellent power assisted pedal feel. The exhaust is quiet new. the suspension is buttery smooth. quiet and supple free of any clunks. rattles or pulls.
