Reluctant sale of the best car i have ever owned. I bought this Arizona coupe almost new, riginal purchaser was a sports star who stored it more then drove it. I owned it for years before selling to anotherenthusiast. It has always been maintained better then the book, il changed every 3000 miles with Mobil 1, ashed & waxed with Liquid Glass weekly, arage kept, tc. After Irepurchased it, replaced all wear items, uspension, ifetime driveshaft withgrease-able U joints,radiator, erformance plug wires, ap, otor, lugs, attery, amp; heater core. All fluids were changed, /C recharged with Envior Safe refrigerant. Car runs & drives like it did when Ifirst bought it in the 80's, verything works, indows, unroof, ower doorlocks, ruise control & trip computer. The radio was upgraded in the 90's with a Alpine unit, till works, ut volume control is a little scratchy, riginal radio included, orked well when removed. Included are all owners manuals, ull tool kit in trunk, orking flashlight in glove box, ox full of spare filters, parebead blasted valve cover, alve cover gasket, amp; shop manual.This is a very original unmolested adult owned car, eliable enough to be a daily driver, un weekend/car show vehicle, nd appreciating classic. This is a sport package car which includes 5speed Getrag 265 trans, est one and only used in 1985, osi rear end, port steering wheel, ecaro powersport seats, tc. It is a rust free Arizona car, leanundercarriage and good chrome, o dash cracks!Recent upgrades include M3posi rear end (original included,pinionbearing starting to make noise) 16" chromed BMW wheels with new MichelinPilotSport tires, new OEM leather front seat covers by WorldUpholstery. NewLloyds floor mats with 635 embroidery. Overall, very well maintained, dult owned car, lways babied, riven gently as a weekend cruiser.This is a 30 year old car so no, t's not new and has signs of use. Not perfect, eeds the window & sunroof switches cleaned, hey work, ut needjiggling if the car sits for a long time. One of the exhaust pipes cracked under theshielding when the trans was resealed, ut not loud, only notice when the windows are down & next to a wall. The trans was resealed in 2008, ut I noticed some seepagefrom the seal this week,doesnot leave anything on the garage floor. A/C works as well as it always did, nd the fan switch still has the variable feature working, ut 80's German cars were not noted for great A/C.This car still runs & drives like it did back in the 80's and still averages 22 mpg, ame as it did new.I really don't want to part with this carespecially with it's history, ut I'mgetting too old to enjoy it as I once did so hoping it will go to a properenthusiast who will appreciate the wonderful classic.
