Description of 1993 BMW 5-Series 525i |
Up for auction: 1993 BMW 525i. I bought the car new in March of 1993. My goal was to break 300,000 miles which I just did and now it's time to part with my baby. The car drives straight, till runs good and the transmission shifts fine. Everything works on the car and the interior is in good shape. AC blows cold. Car passed New Jersey State inspection. This car is the best car that I ever owned. It has a few bumps and bruises. Please see photos. Last year someone lost a Christmas tree and it was lying in the road and of course I ran it over. As you can see in the photo it took out the lower part of my front bumper fog lights. The driver's side door and passenger's side door have some rust on the bottom. Also, he driver's side door needs a cable that connects the door handle to the latch. The cable is about $6.00 from the dealer. So you have to lower the window and open the door from the outside handle. The car can use a new set of plugs. For the last 5 years, had to add about a pint of anti-freeze to the radiator every month or so. I can't find the leak and a BMW mechanic said it may be a minor head gasket leak. The car comes with the original owner's manuals and radio codes. The car is worth more in parts than the starting auction price. Car is being sold AS IS. Good luck bidding. Please see photo and feel free to email me any question regarding the car. |
